….

Drop In Center Needs

Backpacks & duffle bags, Vacuum cleaners, dryers that can be delivered to the Drop in Center, large sized microwaves, sample sized Personal hygiene & toiletry items. Pillows, single fitted sheets, clean twin plastic mattress covers, washable blankets, towels, pots and pans, playing cards, cribbage boards, wall phones.
Remember, to keep others in our prayers that need our support, our love, our help, we have been blessed many times. Please reach out to others who have nothing.

New St. Paul's Rector

Keep in your prayers: the Rev. Bill Van Oss who will be the New Rector for St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Duluth. May 21st will be his first service.

Worship Team Calendar

The Worship Team Calendar is monthly service schedule of duty assignments for Sunday and special services. Worship team members include priest(s) or officiant, deacon(s), preacher, lector(s), eucharistic minister(s), acolyte(s), and greeters/ushers. It is important that these assignments are filled and those unable to make their scheduled assignments find a replacement and/or contact our liturgist. The Sacristy Team (Altar Guild) maintains its own schedule.

Lay Readers Needed

The laity, the people of the church, all the baptized, are called to ministry. Lay readers are non-ordained ministers in worship. Traditionally they led the Daily Offices (Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer, etc,) and are licensed by the Diocese to read the scripture lessons in church. A lector is appointed by the liturtgist or the celebrant to read the lessons that precede the gospel and to be the cantor or the one who leads the psalm at the eucharist service. The lector should be prepared to read the prayers of the people in the absence of the intercessor or the deacon. This a special ministry that gives voice to God's Word and voice to the prayers of the congregation. If you feel a call to this ministry or want to know more about it, contact our liturgist, Carol Shultz.

Greeters Needed

We need volunteers to greet people on Sunday mornings. Greeters are the first smiling face visitors see on a Sunday morning. Contact Barb Tourville if you are interested.

Support Team Calendar

The Support Team Calendar is a monthly service schedule for those who have volunteered to provide regularly scheduled support functions to make the church an inviting and hospitable environment for worship, fellowship, and outreach activities.

Coffee Hour Volunteers Needed

The ancient tradition of hospitality is to offer the visitor or guest something to eat and to drink. While many call Trinity home none of us live there. Take the opportunity to be the host, or just help out in the kitchen, during the Coffee Hour following church service, and pass along the hospitality you have received. There is a sign-up sheet just outside the kitchen door.

Cleaning Angels Needed

Mostly the same few people provide help in this important ministry. Lighten the load, and spend a fews hours once in a while on your knees and hands, so to speak, keeping God's house praiseworthy. There is a sign-up sheet just outside the kitchen door, or better yet, make Barb Tourville's day, and let her know you want to help.

May 13th Food Drive

National Letter Carriers Association will hold a Food Drive on Saturday, May 13th to restock food shelves. You can leave your food items at your mail box and donations will be picked up.
