Ministry Team Update
We have a new person who will be coming on board. Annie Henninger
is coming to us to be part of the Total Ministry Team in training.
Annie is being called to the Priesthood in the Native American
community. We are in the beginning stages of bring her on board.
The Team and St. Andrews Team met with Annie and discussed how
her ministry can work with our ministry and that she would be
able to blossom out into her ministry. Please keep her in your
prayers.
Total Ministry is making leaps in northern Minnesota, please
keep in your prayers the Range Churches and Grand Rapids. Thank
you.
Worship
Team Calendar
The
Worship Team Calendar is monthly service schedule of duty
assignments for Sunday and special services. Worship team members
include priest(s) or officiant, deacon(s), preacher, lector(s),
eucharistic minister(s), acolyte(s), and greeters/ushers. It
is important that these assignments are filled and those unable
to make their scheduled assignments find a replacement and/or
contact our liturgist. The Sacristy Team (Altar Guild) maintains
its own schedule.
Lay
Readers Needed
The laity, the people of the church, all the baptized, are called
to ministry. Lay readers are non-ordained ministers in worship.
Traditionally they led the Daily Offices (Morning Prayer, Evening
Prayer, etc,) and are licensed by the Diocese to read the scripture
lessons in church. A lector is appointed by the liturtgist or
the celebrant to read the lessons that precede the gospel and
to be the cantor or the one who leads the psalm at the eucharist
service. The lector should be prepared to read the prayers of
the people in the absence of the intercessor or the deacon. This
a special ministry that gives voice to God's Word and voice to
the prayers of the congregation. If you feel a call to this ministry
or want to know more about it, contact our liturgist, Carol Shultz.
Greeters
Needed
We need volunteers to greet people on Sunday mornings. Greeters
are the first smiling face visitors see on a Sunday morning. Contact
Barb Tourville if you are interested.

Support
Team Calendar
The Support
Team Calendar is a monthly service schedule for those who
have volunteered to provide regularly scheduled support functions
to make the church an inviting and hospitable environment for
worship, fellowship, and outreach activities.
Coffee
Hour Volunteers Needed
The ancient tradition of hospitality is to offer the visitor or
guest something to eat and to drink. While many call Trinity home
none of us live there. Take the opportunity to be the host, or
just help out in the kitchen, during the Coffee Hour following
church service, and pass along the hospitality you have received.
There is a sign-up sheet just outside the kitchen door.
Cleaning
Angels Needed
HELP, HELP, HELP! We need cleaning angels for the month of December.
Perhaps several families can volunteer to split this month
..
Remember, a clean church is a welcoming church. There is a sign-up
sheet just outside the kitchen door, or better yet, make Barb
Tourville's day, and let her know you want to help.

Help
Maintain Our House
This fall the Church has two projects that will be in full swing-
to repair the boiler systems. This is an older boiler and needs
some work. We are looking at $1,500.00 or so to fix it. Please
-if you would like to make a special donation to this repair please
let Jane know. Also the parish hall back doors will be replaced.
The doors do not come together any longer and wind comes right
in. We are also looking at the issue of being handicap accessible
at the double doors. If you have any experience in installing
doors contact Greg Toon, our Junior Warden.

"The
Peace"
"The Peace of The Lord Be Always With You."
During any Eucharistic service we do "The Peace".
It is traditionally a time for all Christians to literally make
peace with their neighbors. It is a time to make amends before
coming to the Lord's Table and receiving His unconditional grace.
We, as Christians, are to open ourselves, our hearts, to the
grace that Christ gives us at His Holy Table and by
giving of the Peace to our fellow Christians, we are removing
any barrier to that grace.
Please be sensitive to others, especially visitors,
during the Peace and remember that the giving of the Peace is
not a social time. It is a time for sharing love, and giving
forgiveness if any is needed.
The Peace of the Lord be Always With You!!
The Rev. Linda Lundgren
Letting
Go
Letting go does not mean to stop caring-it means not to take
responsibility for someone else.
Letting go is not to cut myself off from others-it's realizing
I can't control others.
Letting go is not to enable others-it's to allow learning from
natural consequences.
Letting go is to admit my own powerlessness, which means the
outcome is not in my hands.
Letting go is not to try to change or blame others-but to make
the most of myself.
Letting go is not to care for-but to care about.
Letting go is not to be in the middle of arranging-but to be
on the sidelines, cheering.
Letting go is not to fix-but to be supportive.
Letting go is not to be protective-it is to permit another to
face reality.
Letting go is not to deny-but to accept.
Letting go is not to nag, scold or argue-it is to search out
my own shortcomings and correct them.
Letting go is not to adjust everything to my desires-but to
take each day as it comes, and cherish myself in it.
Letting go is not to criticize and regulate others-but to be
what I can become.
Letting go is not to regret the past-but to grow and live for
the future.
Letting go is to fear less, and love more.

Smile
for You
Smiling is infectious; you catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin
When he smiled I realized I'd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile then I realized its worth,
A single smile, just like mine could travel round the earth.
So if you feel a smile begin, don't leave it undetected
Let's start an epidemic quick, and get the world infected.
Back
to School Prayer
Students
of all ages are back in school. Please pray for them, help them
attain their goals and dreams!
Dear Lord Jesus, take my hand,
Im going to a foreign land.
One not ruled by King or Preacher
But someone with the name of Teacher
My Mommy says that Ill have fun
I sing and skip and play and run.
But I am scared cause I dont know
Just what to do or where to go.
So please Lord Jesus hug me tight
And keep me in your loving sight,
For with you by my side today,
I know that I will be okay.

Life Lessons
From Noah
1.
Don't miss the boat.
2. Remember that we are all in the same boat.
3. Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
4. Stay fit. When you're 600 years old someone may ask you to
do something really big.
5. Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs
to be done.
6. Build your future on high ground.
7. For safety's sake travel in pairs.
8. Speed isn't everything. The snails were on board with the
cheetahs.
9. When you're stressed, float awhile.
10. Remember the Ark was build by amateurs, the Titanic by professionals.
11. If you can't fight or flee - float.
12. Take care of your animals as if they were the last ones
on earth.
13. When the doo-doo gets really deep, don't sit there and complain
- grab a shovel.
14. Stay below deck during the storm.
15. If you have to start over, have a friend by your side.
16. Remeber that the woodpeckers inside are often a bigger threat
than the storm outside.
17. When you're stressed, float awhile.
18. No matter the storm, when you are with God there's always
a rainbow waiting.
